Join us for “Reflective Interpreting: Strategies for Clarity” on June 28, 2026. This dynamic workshop will help new and experienced interpreters to move away from negative self criticism and move towards an empowered decision- making mindset through intentional self-reflection and practical strategies. Learn to identify and address English intrusions, leverage various visual modalities like classifiers, spatial referencing, and transform your interpreting for greater clarity and cohesion. Elevate your skills and connect more effectively with Deaf consumers in this empowering session. Don’t miss out-register now and take your interpreting to the next level!

Upon completing this workshop, participants will leave equipped with a strengthened foundation for professional growth. Attendees will learn to recognize patterns of negative self-talk and intentionally reframe them as constructive self-reflections. The workshop will also examine external factors that present challenges — alongside strategies to address them with confidence. Additionally, participants will engage in practical application of ASL-specific techniques, including classifiers, spatial reference, and other visual modalities for clarity of the message.
